Last week, I went to a Japanese restaurant in Bondi Junction, which is one of my favorites cheap-eat in Sydney. When I used to practice in the area, i had been going there once a week over one year, ordering the same food over and over again.
Then the awareness of how much of a creature of habit I am came through, because when I chose to go to a particular restaurant I would chose exactly the same food. The food-gasm experiences I had so far in my mouth from various places (believe me when I say I love food), made me infatuated with some items on the menu. The downside of it is, firstly, I become blind of the other menu options or restaurants that probably are very good or even better than what I usually order. Secondly, how am I going to improve my diet if I keep eating out as I can’t control how much restaurants put salt, sugar and certain oil in their cooking that’s not good for me?
How do you operate on a day-to-day basis without even realizing it? Do you do the same exercise routine since last year, market your business the same way since 5 years ago, or communicate with your partner negatively daily and expect a different outcome?
